The LoggerFlex product line is a catalog of WiFi and cellular data loggers, sensors and meters from a Canadian manufacturer, covering temperature, humidity, CO₂, pressure, current, light, soil moisture and water. The EDGE family handles temperature and humidity monitoring with record-keeping; the BLOCK family adds pressure, current, light, 4-20 mA, pulse and Modbus inputs; and single-use NFC loggers and cellular water meters cover shipments and water metering. Connected loggers report straight to LF Cloud with no gateway.
EDGE family: temperature, humidity and record-keeping
EDGE Essential measures temperature and humidity at ±0.2 °C (±0.36 °F) with VPD and dew point; EDGE Thermo reads external probes from -55 °C to +125 °C (-67 °F to +257 °F) at ±0.5 °C (±0.9 °F); EDGE Pharma is built for vaccine storage, with ±0.5 °C (±0.9 °F) accuracy, NIST-traceable calibration and LF Cloud records that support FDA 21 CFR Part 11. EDGE Air adds CO₂ and air quality, and EDGE GEO adds geo-location from cell towers and WiFi networks. EDGE Lite, a compact min/max thermometer with a WiFi alarm, is not released yet, and EDGE Multi is coming soon. Most models come in WiFi or cellular versions with a built-in global eSIM and BLE, and patented power management gives up to 3 years of battery life on 4 AA batteries on WiFi models (up to 2 years on cellular).
BLOCK family: pressure, current, CO₂, light and industrial signals
BLOCK devices extend monitoring beyond temperature: fluid pressure in seven ranges from 0–1 bar (0–14.5 psi) to 0–100 bar (0–1,450 psi), split-core current clamps, CO₂, external temperature probes and 4-20 mA loops, plus Modbus RTU through the Modbus bridge. They bring the same no-gateway WiFi connectivity and alarms to motors, pumps and compressors in an IP31 housing that works down to -30 °C (-22 °F). Several older BLOCK models (Essential, External Temp, THERMO II, Light, Pulse Counter, Barometer, Differential Pressure) are being retired, and EDGE Multi will succeed BLOCK Fluid Pressure and Temp + Current.
Single-use NFC loggers and water meters
Microthermo is a single-use NFC temperature data logger for shipments: it records every 10 minutes, keeps 4,000 readings (about 27 days) and uploads its full history to LF Cloud when tapped with the free LoggerFlex NFC app, with no gateway, WiFi or SIM; unused, it keeps for five years. The Cellular Water Meter is an ultrasonic Class 2 (R250) meter with a built-in 4G SIM, rated IP68, with a sealed battery rated for more than 6 years, in DN20 (3/4 in) and DN25 (1 in). The LF M-Bus Cloud Bridge reads up to 360 M-Bus meters.
