US Patent US11455877B2 covers the ultra-low-power technology behind our up-to-3-year battery life on 4 AA batteries, with a further patent pending (18/243,622) on our location algorithm. This is why a LoggerFlex device can sit in a freezer, a vaccine fridge or a remote pumphouse for years and keep reporting — without battery swaps, wiring or routine site visits.
No-gateway WiFi and global cellular
EDGE and BLOCK devices connect directly to ordinary WiFi or built-in global cellular via eSIM, reaching 170+ countries with no proprietary gateway, hub or bridge. Removing the gateway removes a single point of failure and an entire IT project. Devices report from the edge straight to the cloud, so deployment is plug-and-play.
Security and NIST traceability
Data is encrypted in transit with TLS and at rest with AES-256, protected by multi-factor authentication and role-based access control. Digital NIST-traceable calibration certificates are stored in the cloud and linked to each sensor serial number, supporting FDA 21 CFR Part 11 audits. All monitoring data resides in Canada.

Predictive-maintenance models detect gradual motor degradation weeks before failure, turning raw signals into early warnings.
