WiFi and cellular models

EDGE WiFi models connect to any standard 2.4 GHz network, and setup takes under a minute with your phone. EDGE cellular models have a built-in eSIM, so no SIM card is needed: press SYNC and the device connects automatically in over 170 countries. EDGE stores up to 50,000 records in internal memory, offers up to five input channels and runs on hybrid power, 4 AA batteries plus USB-C, with power-outage alerts and battery life of up to 36 months.

The EDGE models

The family covers most monitoring jobs, from food storage to vaccine fridges and indoor air.

• EDGE Essential (WiFi or cellular): ambient temperature and relative humidity with mold prediction, for food storage, agriculture, greenhouses, museums and preservation.
• EDGE Thermo (WiFi or cellular): ambient temperature, humidity and two independent external temperature probes, for cold storage, freezers, boilers, HVAC systems, labs and aquaculture.
• EDGE Pharma (WiFi or cellular): ambient temperature and humidity with two external probes and NIST traceability, for pharmacy vaccine fridges and medication cold storage.
• EDGE Air (WiFi or cellular): CO₂, temperature and humidity with long-term exposure tracking, for indoor air quality, workplaces, schools and daycares.
• EDGE PLUS: ambient temperature, humidity and two external probes, with extra sensor ports and features for advanced cold chain and multi-zone monitoring.
• EDGE Lite: a compact WiFi min/max thermometer with alarm for storage rooms, reach-in coolers and small sites.

Real-time alarms, instantly delivered

EDGE sends alerts by email, text message and phone call to an unlimited number of recipients the moment any monitored parameter goes out of range. A configurable alarm delay reduces false alarms from short-term fluctuations: an alert only triggers if the condition persists beyond the delay you set. Each unit also has visible and audible alarms, and the buzzer can be snoozed for 30 minutes with the built-in button.

NIST calibration tracking

EDGE devices support optional NIST-traceable calibration certificates for up to two external sensors per device. Certificates are valid for 5 years on the shelf and 3 years in use. The device shows NIST status on its screen, counts down 60 days before expiry, sends email reminders and flags expired sensors; renewing a certificate means replacing the external sensor, not the device.

Flood detection and mold prevention

A leak-sensing cable, responsive along its entire length and extendable up to 100 metres (300 ft), triggers audible alarms, on-screen warnings and notifications the moment water is detected. EDGE also calculates a Mold Index from temperature and humidity to warn you before conditions favour mold growth, and tracks dew point, VPD and mixing ratio for greenhouses, preservation and restoration work.

One cloud application, every industry

Readings sync to LF Cloud on desktop, tablet and mobile, with charts, PDF reports, custom dashboards, user activity logging and NIST certificate monitoring.
