Microthermo is a single-use NFC temperature data logger that records every 10 minutes (4,000 readings, about 27 days) with no gateway, WiFi or SIM; at receiving, a tap with the free LoggerFlex NFC app uploads its full history to LF Cloud in about 5 seconds. There is no live link in transit: out-of-range readings are analysed in LF Cloud after the scan.

Yes. Each device connects directly over no-gateway WiFi or, on cellular models, built-in global cellular, so there is no separate hub to install or maintain. That makes it practical to monitor walk-in coolers, freezers, and refrigerated trucks across multiple sites from a single LF Cloud account.

How long does the battery last in a freezer?

LoggerFlex uses a patented battery architecture (US Patent US11455877B2) on 4 AA batteries, rated for up to 3 years on WiFi models and up to 2 years on cellular. Cold environments and reporting frequency affect runtime, but the design is specifically engineered for long deployments in refrigerated and frozen cold-chain applications without constant battery swaps.

Does the system support HACCP and food-safety recordkeeping?

Yes. LoggerFlex supports HACCP and NSF requirements with automated temperature logging, configurable excursion alarms, and exportable reports. Continuous records replace manual paper logs and provide an audit trail for inspectors and quality teams.

What happens during a power or network outage in transit?
