The LoggerFlex NFC app, listed as LoggerFlex NFC Tag Reader, is free on the App Store and Google Play. It reads Microthermo, the LoggerFlex single-use NFC temperature data logger, with a tap of the phone: the logger needs no gateway, WiFi or SIM.
What one tap does
A tap reads a full memory of 4,000 readings in about 5 seconds and uploads the whole history to LF Cloud. The same tap opens a report on the phone: a chart, the minimum, maximum and average with their times, every reading and, when the tag has alarm limits, a large green OK or red Out of range. The report can be shared as PDF or CSV, in °C or °F.
Phones and languages
The app runs on an iPhone with iOS 16 or later, or an Android phone with NFC and Android 8.0 or later. It works in English, French, Spanish, German, Swedish, Danish and Portuguese, and it needs no login or password: an email registered to a free LF Cloud account routes the data.
Who gets the data
Each phone uploads with its own private key, and the account owner is emailed when a new phone is set up and can stop it. A phone can send readings but cannot open the account. If any reading was outside the alarm limits, everyone the account is shared with gets an email and push alert at the moment of the scan.
