HEALTEX is a portable, stand-alone, body temperature screening station, equipped with a thermal camera, a normal camera, and 10” LCD. HEALTEX is designed for automatic, operator free, and contact-less operation. System scans each individual in less than 10 seconds, and if higher than normal body temperature is detected inform the individual and system supervisor.

HEALTEX can preform without internet connection but it also can connect to a web-based application via Wi-Fi and sync all the measured temperatures for statistical analysis with time stamp with the cloud. Cloud application enables HEALTEX to push real-time email, text message, and automated phone call notification to the system supervisor immediately if fever is detected. Temperature alarm levels are adjustable through cloud application and powerful web-based application can generate graphs and statistical reports about the number of scanned people by each device (location) and percentage and distribution of people detected with higher than normal or average temperature.

How does it work?

People will be asked to stand in front of the screen while they can see their pictures on the screen. They need to fit their face in a silhouette picture on the screen and stand still for a few seconds while the system scans the temperature of thousands of points on their face. If an individual’s body temperature is within the normal range a green message on the screen asks them to proceed and if higher than normal temperature detected, after re-testing again, the person will be asked to contact the staff for further instructions.
